OUR PROCESS
CONSULTATION
INITIAL MEETING & PROPOSAL
Our consultation is an on-site working session during which we get to know the client and review the project scope in its preliminary stage. We answer any questions, provide creative ideas and offer professional advise. Based on the gathered information, a feasibly study will be conducted after which a proposal will be drafted and presented. Upon signing, the project will be scheduled and moved to Phase 1.
PHASE 1 - DESIGN STAGE
RESERCH & CONCEPT
Based on the conducted site assessment, we will meet to further create a unique and personal Design. Our clients come first in the Design Process. We further discuss with the clients what they're personal needs are, ranging from wish lists to establishing a budget. Further preliminary design research will be conducted which will act as a guide leading to proposal drawings.

PHASE 2 - TECHNICAL STAGE
ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING PACKAGE
Captive Designs with create a full set of detailed architectural Drawing and specifications pertaining to your project. Further collaborating and engaging with various trusted professional consultants will ensure that the project meets all municipal permit application requirements and hold sufficient detailed information that will be used both for final project tendering/pricing, as well as construction execution.
PROPOSAL DRAWINGS
Captive Designs will work behind the scenes to incorporate all the design elements/requirements from the Design Meeting and create a holistic captivating vision of your new project.
PERMITS & APPROVALS
The project design may be subject to several different types of Permit Applications and Regional Approvals based on the property location. Captive Designs will manage all required permit applications and deliver all approved permits so construction can commence.
DESIGN PRESENTATION
The unveiling of your Project is always an exciting milestone. Captive Designs will walk you through the Proposal Drawings, point out design features and ensure that you have a complete understanding of your design. Client interaction and feedback is key at this stage. Revisions and design choices/changes will be discussed and implemented if required until the client approves and is fully satisfied with the proposed design. During this stage, proposal drawings can be used for Budget Tendering and Contractor sourcing.
CONSTRUCTION
Captive Designs will meet prior to construction to brief your selected contractor on the Architectural Drawing Package, details and approved permits. During the construction process, Captive Designs is available to answer any questions and provide clarification which the client or the contractor may have. On site inspection of the construction process at various stages is recommended as they allow us to review design elements as outline within the Architectural Drawing Package.
